“What on earth have the friendly folk at Chez Skerwink been up to?” Is a question I am sure you have been asking yourself regularly for the past two weeks. Well the answer is: a lot.
During this week of giggle-worthy-good-times we went on a mini excursion to Terra Nova National Park for a day of kayaking. While on this wee outing we stumbled across a flock of friendly, frollicking, four-legged, fur-balls who lived on a pretty little island just off Sandy Cove.
After a quick game of hide and seek in which we were schooled by the bleating beauties, we took a stroll around our new friends home, and found that we had stumbled onto a truly beautiful island, with a large reserve of bakeapple berries!!
Needless to say we gorged ourselves on the sweet fruit before jumping back into our kayaks for the journey home. We would highly recommend this little outing to any and all in the area! Or those keen on a game of hide and seek with a flock of sheep.
Hope you’re all enjoying your summers!
